Predictive Risk Simulation and Modeling (PRISM), represented by Dila Puspita, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., and Prof. Edy Soewono, Ph.D., participated as speakers in the Indonesian Actuarial Journal (IAJ) Editorial Board Meeting organized by the Indonesian Society of Actuaries (PAI) on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the PAI Office, Setiabudi Atrium, Jakarta.

This activity is part of PAI’s strategic agenda to strengthen the governance of scientific journals and prepare the Indonesian Actuarial Journal (IAJ) for national SINTA accreditation as well as international Scopus indexing. PRISM contributed through the presence of its two researchers as key speakers in the strategic material presentation session.

In the activity, PRISM conveyed academic perspectives and policies on journal management based on international standards, strengthening editorial governance, as well as developing a sustainable research ecosystem as a foundation for improving the quality of scientific publications. The material presented emphasized the importance of integrating the quality of scientific substance, journal management systems, international networks, and strategies to increase the visibility and citations of publications.

The series of activities included material presentation sessions, focused group discussions (Focus Group Discussion/FGD), and the preparation of a journal accreditation action plan. This forum produced a strategic framework and structured follow-up plans as a basis for strengthening IAJ’s capacity in the process toward SINTA and Scopus.

PRISM’s participation in this forum reflects institutional commitment to supporting the strengthening of the national scientific publication ecosystem as well as active contribution to the development of governance for internationally reputable journals. The collaboration between PRISM and PAI is expected to be part of ongoing synergy in the development of research, scientific publications, and improving Indonesia’s scientific competitiveness at the global level.
