On Thursday, April 2, 2026, the Predictive Risk Simulation and Modeling (PRISM) team held a kick-off meeting to initiate a collaborative research project with Daewoong Pharmaceutical.
This event marked an important first step in strengthening the synergy between academia and industry, particularly in advancing data-driven research, risk modeling, and innovation in the healthcare sector.
The collaboration covers two main research topics. The first project, titled “Effects of In-Phase and Out-of-Phase Microneedle Array Configurations on Skin Permeability for Transdermal Drug Delivery Due to Microneedle Mechanical Strength Constraints,” is led by Prof. Dr. Agus Yodi Gunawan, with team members Dr. Dewi Handayani, Mohamad Riyadi, M.Si., and research assistants.
The second project, titled “Multi-Objective Optimization of Microneedle-Based Drug Delivery for Cancer Treatment Using NSGA-III,” is led by Adhe Kania, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., with team member Dila Puspita, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., along with research assistants.
Through this collaboration, PRISM and Daewoong Pharmaceutical aim to generate meaningful innovations, contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, and develop practical risk-based solutions in the healthcare field.
PRISM sincerely appreciates the trust and partnership established with Daewoong Pharmaceutical and looks forward to a productive and impactful research journey ahead.
