The Research Consortium on Financial Modeling, Optimization and Simulation (RC-FInanMOS) was established in March 2008 by Prof. Dr. Edy Soewono, Dr. Saladin Uttunggadewa, and the late Haris E. Santoso as a form of strategic initiative to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry. RC-FinanMOS ITB serves as a multidisciplinary research platform focusing on the development and application of mathematical financial modeling, optimization, and simulation to address various complex challenges in the real world.
These three areas of study play an important role as analytical and decision-making tools that are highly needed in various industrial sectors, such as finance, manufacturing, transportation, ICT, and services. Through a strong and collaborative scientific approach, RC-FinanMOS is committed to providing innovative solutions, strengthening national industrial resilience, and supporting the development of technology and policies based on data and mathematical models.
