Mathematical Infectious Disease Modelling Simulation (MIDIMOS) is part of the ITB Center for Mathematical Modeling and Simulation (PPMS) that specifically focuses on the development of epidemiological mathematics. This consortium serves as a platform for research and scientific collaboration to understand the dynamics of infectious disease spread through mathematical modeling and simulation approaches.
The main objective of RC-MIDIMOS is to conduct and disseminate research through interdisciplinary collaboration, manage scientific discussion groups, and provide consultancy services on various topics related to disease transmission. Through the research conducted, RC-MIDIMOS is expected to provide a strong scientific foundation for understanding phenomena in epidemiological mathematics, including analysis of the effects of control strategies, the influence of climatic factors, and event-based data modeling. Thus, the results of this study can support the formulation of more effective public health policies based on scientific evidence.
